The Shops at Target are Open!

I know I am not the only one that has ventured online (and also in the stores) to investigate the new Shops at Target! I noted on my list of “Blog Post Ideas” to discuss the up and coming Shops…totally forgot…and thanks to a Facebook friend, am now spreading the word!
At first, I was hesitant. Why get excited about this next Target marketing “ploy” – look what happened with Missoni!?! Au contraire! I went online this morning, and was so super pleasantly surprised that I was able to purchase everything I liked (sorry Babe…this is for research I promise) 
. I loved the fact that they had petite sizes in the Webster shop! This is what I ordered from The Webster’s shop:

The Kentucky Derby

May 5th marks the 137th Kentucky Derby race! It is amazing that so much is riding (ha ha) on a race that takes a few moments. Click HERE for a listing of the Derby Horses. Which one do you think will take home 1st place?

Spring fashion thrives at this event! In the reserved seating areas (grandstand, clubhouse, suites and corporate hospitality areas), ladies typically wear pastel-colored suits, frilly dresses or bold separates that coordinate with their Derby head wear and accessories.
While high heels are certainly part of the total Derby ensemble, experienced Derby divas also pack a pair of fashionable yet comfortable flats or flip-flops to wear home. The hats are my total fave. Check these out:
