ALICE by Temperly for Stella & Dot

The newest designer collaboration with Stella & Dot is ALICE by Temperley.  Alice Temperley is a famous British designer,  known for combining femininity with cool Britannia sensibilities. She’s reigned over the London fashion scene for the past decade with an impressive celebrity following including Beyonce and Kate and Pippa Middelton.

The Wonderland Collection, as it is called, consists of five pieces…all delicate with a hint of vintage to them.  Now you can experience a slice of a high-end designer for a fraction of the price!  Check out the video below – Blythe and Alice describe the collection perfectly!

Last night I received two of the ALICE by Temperley pieces and I love them!!  The boxes that the jewels came in were adorable, as expected.  My first piece is the Wonderland Charm Bracelet.

Each charm has a meaning:

  • Heart Charm – represents love.
  • Bird Charm – one of Alice’s favorite motifs, it represents freedom.
  • Fox Charm – a special charm for Alice’s son Fox London.
  • Crown Charm - represents Alice’s British heritage.
  • Key Charm – a popular symbol from Alice in Wonderland, the key opens doors to a world of possibilities.

The second piece I received is so delicate – charms and chain, beautiful!  The Queen of Hearts Charm Necklace. This trio of gold plated brass charms are strung delicately on gold plated chain. Features turquoise studded heart, vintage key and cubic zirconia medallion.

Be sure to check out the three other pieces in this collection!  So beautiful and versatile, each of these pieces can be combined with other pieces that you own.

The First Fashion Week EVER!

Fashion Week was birthed by Eleanor Lambert in 1943 in an attempt to draw attention to American designers during World War II, when fashion industry workers were unable to travel to Paris.

This week long affair was originally dubbed “Press Week”.

In its 69th year, Fashion Week has evolved into a myriad of fashion shows during the day and exclusive parties at night.  Oh how I wish I could be there one time!
