Here are some subtle changes that you can easily do in your makeup routine, that will make a huge difference!
If you have never used false lashes before – you should! You don’t necessarily have to go over the top with some super long, voluminous ones (unless you want to!) Keep it natural, as they add that extra drama to your eyes. They also open your eyes up a little more. There are so many different types of lashes; you are going to have a hard time choosing just one! (Velour lashes have a great selection to choose from.) Try out a variety of them to see what you prefer. Depending on your look and what you’re plans are, you can opt for a few loose lashes at the outer corners of your eyes or a full set of feathery lashes should you be going out at night!
Line Your Lips
By lining your lips, not only does it keep your lipstick from smudging outside the lines, but it can also create a different shape to your lips. If you would like a better pout, over line your top lip just a little, and then fill them in with a color. By applying a lighter shade in the center of your lips, and slightly darker on the outside, you’ll create the illusion that your lips are bigger.
Change Up Your Eyeliner
If you’re bored of the same eye look and want to change it up a little – do your eyeliner differently! Whether it’s a cat eye, or a straight, thin line, or a bold line (like the classic pin up girls) this can drastically change what your eyes look like. Not only that, why not change the color too? Who said eyeliner had to be black? If you want a softer look, try a brown. And if you’re feeling brave – go for a super bright color like blue or purple!
A simple contour of the nose (done properly) can make you look like a completely different person! It takes a little bit to get the hang of the proper colors to use, but the results are super cool! Apply a darker shade to your skin tone on the areas you want to create a shadow. So if you have a wide set nose, draw two lines down your nose and blend it in so it looks natural. This will make your nose appear slimmer. No need for costly surgery!
These got very popular in 2015 and have carried on the trend ever since. Colored contacts change the color of your natural eye, so if you’re bored of those brown eyes, you can change them to green, blue, orange, grey, purple, gold, etc. The list is never ending. If you do decide to try them, make sure you don’t use them after their expiration date as they can possibly infect eyes. Also, when putting them in and taking them out, make sure you have clean hands, or you can give yourself an eye infection!
