Most of you may know that my husband is a big time foodie. He loves to cook and is actually quite phenomenal at it! Many times when we go out to eat, he’ll find a dish he likes and then try to recreate it at home with a little twist of his own. Cooking is his passion and I don’t get in the way of him and his stove.
Every now and then I like to give him a day off and take over the reigns in the kitchen. I have a few favorites of his that I make on the regular (eggplant parm, chicken soup, sausage and peppers) but am always on the lookout for a different meal to surprise him.
When I was invited to Macy’s Culinary Council event to watch master chef Michelle Bernstein showcase her Latin style recipes at Macy’s in Boca Raton, I couldn’t decline! On Saturday, October 15th, Michelle is going to help all attendees celebrate Fall with some of her award-winning dishes. I am definitely going to take notes as I think my hubby would some Latin-inspired dinners.
Michelle Bernstein is well-known as a co-host of Food network’s series, Melting Pot. She has received the coveted James Beard Award for her amazing culinary skills. I’m ready to be inspired.
